About Christ New Covenant Vision Outreach: Members of the Christ New Covenant Vision Outreach broke ground, turning the soil on the site of their new sanctuary on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2007. Mayor Kevin Johnson presented a proclamation from the City of Manning.
The new location will be: Raccoon Road and Cassie Lynn Drive. “God has planted a seed and He has ordained the works of our hands in constructing this facility,” said church founder Elder Rubbeanuion Grant. “We will be a shining light in this community and a beacon of hope for all people as they seek to know God.”
The facility will include classrooms where community programs will be held for both youth and adults, according to Grant.
“We are planning a Vision Youth Academy to help youngsters learn about the Bible and God, as well as youth counseling to teach life and coping skills and a Revelation Network to train ministers,” said Grant.
Christ New Covenant began in 1999 as a home-based Bible study. Their mission is to minister to the total needs of humankind educationally, physically, mentally and spiritually. The church is currently located just outside Manning at 5000 Hwy. 301.
